About this game

Two gorillas, positioned on opposite sides of the screen, will have to try to hit themselves by throwing bananas, defining the trajectory of the shot by entering parameters such as speed and angle, trying to consider the random arrangement of the skyscrapers between them, the direction and intensity of the wind.

It will be possible to play alone against the CPU, or with an opponent on the same device.

The game was made trying to remain as faithful as possible to the memory of the original with which many of us played made by IBM for MS-DOS in the 90s.

Works very similarly to original QBasic except wind speed has to be grasped by seeing how you and your opponent's throws arc. If you're doing it old-school (best way) and you end up on the right side of the screen, you need to sort the angle past 90°, if that makes any sense to you. Launching next to a building catapault style will take you forever to punch through so it's really best to do it old school fashion, sorting out the angle and speed. It'll take practice but well worth it! VZ

Good thought. Execution not so great. I love that you enter power and angle like the original, but the bananas go waaay too slow and the explosions chop out rectangles in the buildings. Just needs a few touch ups. Also menu keyboards are hard to use because so small.

From what I can find, there are two apps of this game, and this one is the superior. The UI could be nicer, however the gameplay is otherwise perfect considering the original. Great fun and a classic.

What’s new

- New build compatible with more recent versions of Android.
- Fixed a bug that caused the initial freeze of the game due to a miscalculation of the number of buildings to create on recent devices with wide screens.
- Gorillas are now placed randomly and not always on opposite sides of the screen.
- The game now takes up the whole screen, and the navbar is invisible.
