GMA News Online, compatible with tablets and smartphones, continues to deliver breaking news in the Philippines and around the world.

The app's regular features include news content from the various sections of GMA News Online: News, Sports, Money, SciTech, Showbiz, and Lifestyle. Get alerts and notifications on your device when a breaking news story is published. It also showcases videos from GMA and GTV. Aside from this, you will also be able to listen to DZBB and Barangay LS radio streaming 24 hours a day.

Experience optimum browsing and get all the information you need at the palm of your hand. The action bar lets you go directly to your preferred section and manage customization settings. Customize your GMA News Online app by choosing your favorite sections and the number of articles that will be displayed.

When an Internet connection is detected, news stories, photos, and videos are automatically updated with the latest content. You can then browse the news at your leisure. For easier reading, you can adjust the font of the text to a size that suits you. A link on each article gives you the option to view it on the GMA News Online mobile site. When browsing offline, the application loads the most recently downloaded news content.

Enjoy smooth scrolling within the articles, and just swipe to move from one section to another or from one story to the next in the same section. You may also share content to Facebook, X, and email from within the GMA News Online app.

Often, Ads cannot be closed no matter how long you wait! Why send a notification when i open the app? May 2025: When will regular content be available again? I'm indifferent to the election. 12/2024 When I select a picture/slideshow at the top of an article, the app closes. 6/2024 Why is there html text in so many articles? It seems to truncate the articles.

I hope they bring back the previous version where you could listen live even when the screen is off.

During the app start-up when we're asked to customize our interests, the UI is not intuitive at all! It turns out the options you don't tick will be considered your interests pala. Nothing in the UI suggests that, and it was confusing (I'm not sure if it has to do with my device set to dark mode). I had to quickly uninstall the app and reinstall it, and fortunately, I could start over again naman. But it was more than a bit inconvenient, so maybe you should fix that.
