Go App Lock keeps your private apps private. Pick any app on your phone and it will ask for your fingerprint, face or master password before it opens.

Protecting Settings and the Play Store never counts toward your limit, so nobody can uninstall your lock.

BUILT FOR PRIVACY
• Your master password is never stored. Only a PBKDF2-HMAC-SHA256 derived key with a random salt is kept, inside Android's encrypted storage.
• Your password and your lock list never leave your device. No account required.
• Ads appear only on the "Free with ads" plan, only inside the app, and never on the lock screen.
• The lock screen blocks screenshots and hides the app from the recents preview

WHY THE PERMISSIONS ARE NEEDED
• Usage access: only to read which app is currently in the foreground, so we know when to show the lock screen
• Display over other apps: only to show the lock screen on top of the app you protected
• Foreground service: keeps protection alive and is always visible as a permanent notification
• Internet: used by Google Play for purchases and by Google AdMob for ads on the "Free with ads" plan
