Você pode ver se você ativou o som de notificação no telefone (não o "toque")? São duas configurações diferentes Você pode encontrar a configuração no Android em: Configurações -> Sons e Vibração -> Volume Caso contrário, você também pode tentar alterar o volume da notificação no aplicativo.
