Did not detect a 14kt size 13 gold ring that weighs 5 grams and was literally touching my galaxy phone in regular detecting mode or with the camera. It kinda seemed like it may have detected it in analog mode, but the reading was barely noticeable, so I'm not confident that this app would detect anything on the ground if you're standing with your phone in hand. Otherwise, cool app Imo. Has more features and other info that made it a fun to play with. And the multiple ads were all very short.

The sound design in this application is an absolute nightmare. The moment you open the scanning interface, a high-pitched, piercing alarm starts blaring continuously, and there is no accessible mute toggle in the basic settings. It forces you to turn your entire phone's media volume down just to tolerate having it open. Worse, the alarm doesn't even correspond to actual physical proximity; it just plays on a chaotic loop to simulate activity. It is incredibly lazy development altogether🌼

I downloaded this app with the hope that it might help me locate a 14kt gold ring that I lost in my backyard. I tested it beforehand by placing a heavy gold ring directly on top of my Galaxy phone, but it failed to detect it in regular mode or even with the camera feature. It slightly registered something in the analog meter mode, but the reading was so faint that it would be impossible to find anything buried in the dirt.
