The system Golden 1 used for eons was fantastic. Nothing crazy about it, it was straight forward and worked. Since this most recent update, they forced users to recreate an entirely new member ID and the app ALWAYS takes you to a secondary link and will not let you log in. it's completely unusable now. The one time I was able to manage logging in, I noticed how much the customer interface changed. The entire point of having an app is so we don't have to use the web.

I cannot login into my account using the new app. When I enter my User ID, nothing happens. I have deleted the app, restarted my phone and reinstalled the app many times, but all to no avail. I can login into my account through the new website but not via the app. Over the weekend, I spent two and a half hours on the phone with two different tech support agents. Neither of them was able to resolve the problem.

Hello, if you’re unable to log in, the fastest fix is to re‑enroll in Personal Digital Banking to create a new User ID and password. A step‑by‑step guide is at golden1.com/digital-banking. You can also visit any branch, and our team can help get you set up.

Since the update, I haven't been able to log on to the app. I keep getting an error saying my information cannot be authenticed. After spending 45 minutes on the phone with Golden 1 they couldn't see anything wrong on their end. No failures, no record of me even trying to log on to my account on the app. This needs to be fixed!!!! There was never an issue like this before, it worked well.
