About the operator of this app:
They call me Shaolin Rainer.
More than 30 years ago I made my journey to China, to the world-famous Shaolin Temple, a Buddhist monastery in Henan Province. There I lived with the monks of the monastery for a long time, made friends, learned kung fu, and came into contact with the teachings of Buddha. Since then I have been connected to the teachings of Buddha. In 2001 I founded the Shaolin Temple Germany in Berlin. With my texts, I would like to point out the importance of Buddhist philosophy in everyday life, helping people to process their fears, worries and needs.
A good Chan (Zen) master can, like an onion, remove one layer of the person's old personality at a time, bringing the topic of "enlightenment" to the fore again and again, and provide accompanying help after "awakening". A teacher cannot go the way for the student, but he can very well point the "right" direction. Don't look at my finger, look in the direction it's pointing.
I would like to be your alarm clock, your alarm, the man who accompanies you when you "wake up". The route is the goal!
