The application aims to publicize the activities and projects of the Zaragoza headquarters of the Itaka-Escolapios Foundation. They are social and educational projects that want to contribute to the transformation of society by advancing towards the achievement of a better and fairer world.
In addition, the application serves as communication between coordinators, volunteers, participants and workers of the projects, for their better functioning and to enhance synergies between them.

Itaka-Escolapios Foundation
Itaka-Escolapios is an international network, created and supported by the Order and Fraternity of the Pious Schools, which is committed to the education of the most disadvantaged people as the best way to transform the world and prepare for a better tomorrow.
It is currently implemented in 18 countries on 5 continents, with 17 offices in Spain.
It promotes and helps sustain Piarist schools and boarding schools in those parts of the world where educational deficits require it.
In addition, it maintains its own social projects, literacy, school support, socio-educational centers, homes for people at risk of exclusion, socio-occupational support and guidance, and employment training.
And in its Calasanz Movement project, more than 5,250 girls, boys and young people enjoy a complete itinerary of free-time activities with education in values, from primary school to their university life.
And all of this is fundamentally based on volunteerism, which supports all project activity, and with the financial help of public and private institutions and our collaborating partners.

Itaka-Escolapios Zaragoza Foundation
In Zaragoza, the Itaka-Escolapios Foundation currently has 3 customer service offices, one in each of the Piarist schools in the city.
In addition to the Calasanz Movement, in which more than 500 boys, girls and young people participate in Zaragoza, Itaka-Escolapios has other social projects:
- The job placement company We Turn It Around, with its 2 stores dedicated to the collection, restoration and sale of children's items from donations
- The Oikos project, a residential resource for international refugees, to whom it provides not only accommodation and maintenance but also activities and training to accompany their difficult situation.
- LAR Project, a shelter for young migrants, with the aim of completing their training and helping them to become economically emancipated, fully integrating into society.
- Acompaña Project, in which we advise and empower people at risk of exclusion, recipients of our projects, in order to promote their autonomy and social integration.
In addition, Itaka-Escolapios has a Free Time School in Zaragoza, where monitors and directors are trained to attend to the leisure of girls, boys and young people.

And all this to promote a better world through education, in its broadest sense, raising awareness through volunteering and building projects that help people.
