This app is very powerful and flexible IF you can get through a successful download and setup. When I first installed the app, it wanted to do an update which isn't necessarily bad but I couldn't do anything except turn the light on and off UNTIL I did the update. Update finished and tried to go to the "scene" setting. Got a totally white screen and couldn't get out of it. Deleted and then reloaded the app and this time I got it to work. Also had 2 use the 2.4gH band on the wifi. 5G didn't work.

Worst purchase ever. Who builds a security light that only turns on an off through the app. Shouldn't I be able to turn the light on manually? You can turn the light on by the app but then all the functions are unavailable when the app disconnects. Then, the light stays on forever--no timer, no "lack of"motion disconnect; JUST ON! I'm afraid this is a fire hazard. I need an immediate refund from this company because I threw the box away.

Says the device is offline and so it doesn't allow me to turn on the lights but I have working wifi/my own phone wifi as a backup--both are working. I even restarted my phone and went to the playstore to see if the app just needed an update. This wasn't the issue either. It just does not want to work for me. I don't know what else to do. This has happened before and it just randomly decided to start working again, but I can't always wait on those random moments. I wish I had a light switch.
