It is REALLY hard to connect the app with the camera. Like ridiculously hard. The app plays this annoying sound to authenticate with the camera (I'm assuming that's why, it might make the annoying sound just for fun). Once you finally get the camera paired with the app it works okay, but anytime your home network hiccups the camera wont record for several minutes. It also seems to require an internet connection. It would be nice if it was able to connect to a LAN and record without internet.

The hardware is good but the app needs work. The app never sends me push notifications unless you leave it running in the background. The motion sensing does not work well either. I get recordings of trucks driving down the street but it does not sense if a car drives into my driveway, mind you the drive way is also 150 feet long directly in front of the camera. I do like the storage feature of saving the events onto the SD card so you are not paying a cloud storage fee, but if I wanted an immediate notification of an event it does not happen.

Basic functions to run the camera are usable. However, menus and icons are rudimentary with little documentation or help. Will only download videos to phone in default app folder; cannot download to SD card. Video format is supposedly H264, but no PC based apps can view or convert them to viewable format. Tech support so far is of little help. Severely limits usability of a potentially excellent camera. Update after 3 months: Support is nonexistent. Camera works, but response time is SLOW.
