I scanned a new book to add to my "Currently Reading" list. Somehow, it was marked "Read". Despite correcting this from the website, and despite being listed as "Currently Reading", it doesn't display on the "Update your progress" page. I've uninstalled/re-installed the app, and I still can't fix it.

I give up. I've used this app for years but for the last, what, year or more--ever since they started trying to push the awful, updated book pages on the browser version--it's been awful trying to look up reviews in the app. Sometimes they're not there at all. Sometimes you can see maybe one or two only for a book. Or it just stops you from seeing past the ~20th review, even though you can navigate to the browser and see 500+ reviews of the same book. I'm just gonna delete the app at this point.

They removed the option to view the current year's books (like the end of the year one but you could see it as you added to it). I can only see it on the browser now so what even is the point of this app. Thinking of deleting it as I'm using storygraph now too and the app is much smoother and has more features that are pretty cool. Update: storygraph has the end of year wrapup thing too and it's much more robust. Think I'll start using that and encourage others to try it out!

What's new

This release includes Android 12 updates to ensure app compatibility for new platform features and APIs. The “Your Year in Books” feature can now be seen by any Android user that has added at least 1 book to their Read shelf in a given year and is now available on the "My Books" page. We also included regularly scheduled bug fixes and improvements.
