It's alright but the sorting doesn't work. I sorted by Date Taken or Date Modified, but when I change a photo's name, it moves somewhere else. I decided to use Aves Gallery instead.

This app keeps creating a new, hidden folder titled "thumbnails" filled with copies of my photos. I keep deleting it, but it keeps coming back, sometimes there's even 2 folders like this at a time.

extremely good. I really miss the old Quickpics before it became malware and this is the closest equivalent I've found to it. It has a couple of quirks which show up occasionally, but it's best gallery app I've come across in years. It doesn't tell you how to organise your photos, it doesn't organise them for you, in a way you don't want, it simply shows you the folders you choose. It gives you actual control over, and a way to view, YOUR photos on YOUR phone. Wonderful and just what's needed!
