The city of Córdoba has been chosen to hold the VI National Congress on Waste Management of Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) on October 3 and 4, 2024. The event will take place at the Exhibition, Fair and Convention Center From Cordoba. In this place it is intended to bring together all the actors involved in the management of WEEE: producers, distributors, waste managers and public administrations.

The organizers of this environmental meeting are the Collective Systems of Extended Responsibility of the Producer of Electrical and Electronic Equipment (SCRAP): AMBILAMP, ECOASIMELEC, ECOFIMÁTICA, ECOLEC, ECOLUM, ECO-RAEE's, ECOTIC and EUROPEAN RECYCLING PLATFORM, in collaboration with the Board of Andalusia, FAMP and the Córdoba City Council.

The main objective of the Congress is to publicize the current situation of WEEE management in Spain, its importance within the Circular Economy and to serve as a meeting point for all agents to promote collaboration between all of them.

As a continuation of the experience of 2017 in Antequera, 2018 in Valencia, 2019 in Toledo, 2022 in Zaragoza and 2023 in Barcelona, ​​in this sixth edition the sustainability of the event will be enhanced through practices that allow minimizing the environmental impact of the Congress.
