Ratings and reviews

Get out there and start shooting... The app is great for controlling the camera. You can change recording settings and download clips to your mobile device. But as far as editing goes, do yourself a favor and find another editing app. Because this one is awful for that. I've always have troubles with GoPro apps even editing across various phones and versions of the app, including... specifically this version.

My old phone, a moto g stylus, the videos played very well on it but the uploading to the cloud was slow and so I thought if I upgraded to a samsung galaxy phone things would be better. I am on the third try to download the app. The first two times, the videos wont play, they skip alot and the sound does not match up in the video. I looked for a plug in to download and there is none at this moment. The gopro video player on the computer works, but you have to install a hevc update for 99 cents.

I used this 1.5 years ago after a family vacation and was able to get three special videos out of it. Now, they've seemingly changed it and you can't get ANYTHING done for free with it. They shouldn't even let you attempt it as it becomes a waste of time. I tried Microsoft Clipchamp on PC and LOVED IT! It has that GoPro magic I experienced 1.5 yrs ago times 1000!
