Got this based on recommendations from various sites. I was surprised how on my own I was for installation. The partial open only sometimes works (possibly recently fixed) but now I don't seem to be notified when the door is left open anymore. This product just wasn't as easy to install or use and the support isn't as good as I was expecting. It mostly works but it's also a pain and if I can't rely on it to remind me that I left the door open that's a major selling point that's not working.

We've had a tailwind device for a few years now and have really liked it a lot. However, the latest app and firmware updates have completely broken the auto open feature. it will work well for a few days, then will quit working again. I've double checked all permissions, tried rebooting the device and my phone, but nothing helps. It's a shame because it has been great up until now. We may have to look into alternative options if this isn't fixed soon.

This app is garbage. You'll set it up, login, get everything working, and it will be fine for a year or so. Then one weekend you'll be out in the blazing heat running a 200 mile relay race. But when you get home, you can't find your house keys. So you try to open the garage door to get in only to see in that moment it decided to refresh your auth token with a forced login. This does not enhance security. It only adds annoyance. Such a stupid design!
