Got this based on recommendations from various sites. I was surprised how on my own I was for installation. The partial open only sometimes works (possibly recently fixed) but now I don't seem to be notified when the door is left open anymore. This product just wasn't as easy to install or use and the support isn't as good as I was expecting. It mostly works but it's also a pain and if I can't rely on it to remind me that I left the door open that's a major selling point that's not working.

Update: Like the march 2024 update, the recent August update killed notifications. Left here to notify of bug. Original: User since 2019. Did not want to spend extra on home link and did not want to pay subscription fees. The kit was easy to install and the open on arrival is very nice! I did turn off auto close since I like to watch the door close before I take off. I would love to have a lockdown mode, especially during vacations.

Horrible worthless app. When trying to open or close the door, it just spins and spins and spins and spins and spins. There is absolutely no fault tolerance built in. If switching between wifi and 5G, as most of us are in the driveway, retry the command. This isn't hard. Half the time the app says the garage door is offline when it isn't. The latest update put the final nail in the coffin. Tearing out the system and installing something else. Sad thing is the system itself works fine.
