About this app

GotchaFix keeps track of the maintenance of everything you own — your house, your vehicles, your appliances, your equipment.

You tell it what you own and what each thing needs ("furnace filter every 3 months", "oil change every 8,000 km"). GotchaFix works out what's due, reminds you once a day, and keeps a record of what was done, when, and what it cost.

WHAT'S DUE, AT A GLANCE
The home screen answers one question: what needs my attention? Overdue items come first, then what's coming up soon, with everything else tucked out of the way. It's all plain language — "Overdue by 26 days", "Due in 9 days" — with nothing to decode.

SCHEDULES THAT MATCH REAL LIFE
Repeat by time ("every 3 months"), by usage ("every 8,000 kilometres", "every 50 hours"), or both at once — GotchaFix uses whichever comes first, the way real car maintenance actually works. Update your odometer and the schedule keeps up. One-off jobs work too, for the things you just need to remember once.

ONE REMINDER A DAY
A single daily summary, at a time you choose — not a stream of notifications. If nothing's due, it stays quiet. Turn it off entirely and the app still works; the home screen is always the source of truth.

A HISTORY WORTH KEEPING
Log what you did, what it cost, and the meter reading. Add a photo of the receipt. See the total you've spent on one item or across everything you own. Ad-hoc jobs are welcome — you don't need a schedule to record "replaced the kitchen faucet".

STARTER TEMPLATES
Adding a house or a car? GotchaFix offers a ready-made list of the usual maintenance tasks, so you don't have to invent a schedule from scratch. Pick the ones you want, ignore the rest.

YOUR DATA STAYS ON YOUR DEVICE
No account. No sign-in. No cloud. Everything lives on your PC, and the app works with no internet connection at all. Back up everything to a single file whenever you like, and restore it on another device.

No jargon, no icons without labels, nothing to configure before it's useful. If a label needed explaining, we reworded it. No subscription. No ads. No upsells. No account to create.

What’s new

Know the moment a task lands on you.

• When someone in your household assigns a task to you, your phone tells you, even if GotchaFix isn’t open. Tap it and the task is waiting under Mine.
• Notifications only exist for accounts in a shared household, and only while you’re signed in. Signing out turns them off on that device.
• Now requires Android 6.0 or newer.
