The Rickshaw App is a field-level enforcement application developed under the E-Rickshaw Digital Platform by the Local Government Division (LGD) in collaboration with the Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC) and Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC), with technical assistance provided by the Bangladesh Computer Council (BCC) under the ICT Division.
This app is designed exclusively for scanning and verifying QR codes assigned to registered rickshaws. It enables traffic police and authorized field officers to instantly verify the authenticity of registrations, helping prevent the operation of unregistered, expired, or tampered rickshaws.
