Being able to see deals and make a list online before going to the store is super helpful. And looking up the isle of an item speeds things up too. Not everything in the store is on the app but I just make custom items for that. And I can copy the list and send it to my room mate if he offers to pick stuff up for me. I haven't tried delivery or pick up but overall a really good list making app for a relatively small store chain.

Two things are important to me. There are some items I purchase such as ribs and steaks when they are on sale, so I check the app every week. My only complaint about the app is how after clicking on an item to get more information the app sends you back to the beginning of the ad, so it can be time consuming and a little frustrating to go through the ad if you check on several item.

EDIT (minutes later): I kid you not, I scrolled down from this app to where they list "similar apps" and an app came up called "Oblique Strategies." I couldn't agree more. 😅 I don't understand how a grocery chain with such excessive margins, doesn't put any resources into the development and maintaince of their app, their website or even having decent wifi in their stores so that people could actually use their app or website if they were not so glitchy. The actual database seems like it is might be around 1% of what they actually stock across all of their stores and there is absolutely no logical reason why this is. I worked grocery in the late 80s and we used to EDI purchasing orders out of a system that tracked all skus for all stores. Lunds isn't even a sku heavy chain. Beyond the radically incomplete database, this app has intolerable navigation issues with it's UI. I just did a brand search (which should actually have returned about 30 items under that brand) and instead of any products, it returned two different error messages. I then clipped some coupons, followed by my coming across an area where my clipped coupons were supposed to be. There wasn't a single thing there, no matter if I put the filter on or took it off. Then it took me a while to figure out why they had an icon in the top right corner that appeared to be a way of deleting everything that I had added to cart. I finally clicked on it, only to find out that it simply was my cart. Apparently, using a cart as the icon for a cart was too intuitive for these guys, so they used a basket icon for a cart. I can only assume that nobody in corporate has ever used their own app, because if you come across this icon after you have added anything to cart, the item tracker covers the handles of the basket, so it looks like your item total is sitting in a a garbage bin, which is universally used across the internet to indicate that the user is deleting something. As far as the weekly ad, if you actually click on any item item in the ad and hit the back button to return you to the page that you were on, it actually closes the weekly ad. Then you have to open it again and scroll through each page to the bottom to get to flip pages until you get back to where you were. There is no ability offered at the top of each page to advance through them. After wondering why the back button would close the whole weekly ad, I noticed an "X" at the top left of each item page. I clicked on the X and that took me one step back from item to the page of the weekly ad that I was on. So, the universal symbol (X) for closing something out, actually takes you back, but clicking on the back button on your phone closes the user out. "You can't make this stuff up," is a phrase that I never like to say, because I think that it is ridiculously over used, but in the case of this app, I can't think of anything more appropriate. I only even tried to use the app for about 10 minutes and saw all of this and more. I actually spent less time using the app, than I just spent listing some of the problems that I came across during that short time of using it. 🙄
