No — CGA is a pre-grading and condition analysis tool. It predicts the grade your card would likely receive, so you can decide whether it's worth submitting to a grading company like PSA, CGC, BGS, SGC or TAG.

How accurate is the AI card grader?

So, I went through some cards and got several overall scores of 9.5 which felt pretty cool, but then I found one where the centering was bad enough left to right you could easily see it, and it's actually slightly rotated; especially easy to see on the back. I figured I'd go ahead and give it a scan to test its accuracy. The app gave the centering a 10 on that card and I called it quits. Nice concept, but that last scan calls every other grade into question.

I've been testing a bunch of AI grading tools the last few days and this is by far the best I've found. The centering tool is a must have! I just wish I could press a button to move the corner nodes 1 pixel at a time. My fat thumbs take a while to line them up properly. Also, the fact that it's a one time purchase for pro rather than subscription based makes it that much better than the rest. It would be nice to see the collection tracking get some more love, but I just use Collectr for that.

Questionable at best! I can't validate the accuracy of this app in comparison to actually sending cards in to get graded.. However, two issues I've noticed is.. 1. The summary of the graded card often seems to repeat from every card I scanned, (at least a dozen now). Especially, when I'm expecting it to say something else.. 2. I scanned two of the exact same cards. One with really good centoring and one that is definitely off-centered but it gave me the same grade. Hmm 🤔
