TrailPilot is an offline-first map, GPX navigation, waypoint, and GPS track-recording app for off-road rides and places where mobile coverage is unreliable.
Offline maps
- Use Mapsforge vector maps and calibrated Orux raster maps.
- Automatically prefer offline coverage, with optional online OpenStreetMap fallback.
- Choose a vector-map theme and the details you want to see.
- Download OpenAndroMaps files into your selected map folder with pause and resume controls.
GPX navigation
- Open and display multiple GPX tracks and routes.
- Follow a track from start to end or in reverse.
- Navigate to a selected map location and see direct or along-track distance.
- Optionally receive an off-route sound alert while Energy Saver is enabled.
- Keep active navigation running when the app is minimized or the phone is locked, with an ongoing notification and stop control.
Recording and waypoints
- Record a new track, continue a recording, or start a new segment.
- Add and share waypoints.
- Preview, rename, export, share, and delete recordings.
- Load GPX files from an optional external track folder.
TrailPilot has no account, ads, or analytics. Recordings and waypoints are stored locally and are shared only when you choose to export them.
TrailPilot provides GPX track-following assistance. It is not a turn-by-turn routing engine and does not automatically reroute around obstacles.
