Worked great until the Dropbox update. Been sitting here for several hours trying to figure out how to get my charts to work offline. I've tried doing it using the solution posted by Mario and it's still not working. What really sucks is that I just received my pageflip pedal today and planned on using it at a gig I have in the morning. If I can't figure this out, then I'm going to have to use a bunch of ink to print out all my parts which also sucks because it's an outdoor gig....ughhhhh...please fix this ASAP!!!!!
In theory, this app has everything I'm after and nothing superfluous. In practice, I couldn't for the life of me work out how I could add songs to a set list after I'd created one. I went and watched the help video and it all looked very straightforward, and I wondered why I'd found it confusing the first time round. Then I went back to the app and realised that there was literally no add button in the top right hand corner of the screen where it was supposed to be! I click into the list, it tells me there's nothing in it and to add charts from the menu, and then gives me no way to do so. Pretty basic oversight, guys! Fix this in the next version please. I would ask for a refund, but I otherwise like the functionality and I can still open the scores I need. But it would be so much more useful if I can add them to a set list.
I do not recommend. Does not work well. Used it during a community style jam session for the first time last night. It crashed several times, asking me if I wanted to "Report or Close". What the heck? I just want it to work reliably as advertised, not be a beta tester. A good idea in theory, turned out to be a waste of my time and money. I will look for something that works, or return to using paper in binders.
Backwards airturn pedal Since the update my air turn pedal works backwards ie when turning to the next page it goes back to the previous page and there is no way to change it back so that it works the right way round. Other than that it's a great program.
Great potential but totally useless for instrumental musicians (I'm a trombonist): it only has sideways page turn, so there is no way you can preview the next page. Fine if you don't have notes to play at the bottom of the page & continued on the next. Rather use WPS Office or Adobe which do have continuous vertical scrolling & thus allow page preview.
Very basic. Binders would be a *huge* improvement. Looks like I'll be sticking to my iPad for gigs for the near future
