A calculator for the maths of knitting — nothing else.
You measured your swatch. Now: how many stitches do I cast on? Where do the
decreases go? Amidoria answers in the notation charts already use.
WHAT IT DOES
Gauge conversion
Enter stitches and rows per 10 cm, get the cast-on for any width and the row
count for any length.
Even increases and decreases
Type "70 stitches to 100" and get:
"increase every 2 sts twice, every 3 sts once — repeat 10 times."
A diagram shows exactly where the changes fall.
Sleeve shaping
Spread a few stitches evenly over many rows, written as 2-1-10.
Shoulder shaping
How many stitches to drop every 2 rows — for short rows or bind-off.
Armhole shaping
A bind-off followed by steps that get gentler.
(Armhole curves vary by drafting style and taste, so this is shown as a guide.
The stitch and row totals always add up, so reshape it to suit you.)
How much yarn
From the size and weight of your swatch, in grams and balls.

ABOUT ADS
Ads keep the app free. There is a button to watch a video and hide ads for 60

PLEASE NOTE
Results are a guide. Yarn, tension and finishing all change the outcome, and
armhole curves in particular differ between drafting traditions.
