it takes too long to get to the actual calender and it is so small!

Im not liking this at all. how can I see a weeks worth of activity?? also, how do I repeat an event every 2 months on the calendar?? Does anyone have any suggestions?

Tĥe Apps does not show show the prevailing day or is it that missed somethings in my installation.
