Comb is a relaxing hexa sort puzzle: stack hexagon tiles on a honeycomb board, let matching colors merge, and clear ten of a color at a time. No timers, and nothing to buy.
WHY COMB IS DIFFERENT
• No timers. Take as long as you like: the challenge is what fits where, never the clock.
• Three tries a level, and no energy that refills by waiting. Out of tries? Win a level you have already beaten to earn one back.
• No boosters and nothing to buy.
• Finished levels replay free, any time, so going back for gold is never punished.
HOW TO PLAY THIS HEXA STACK PUZZLE
Three hexagon stacks wait in your tray. Drag one onto any empty cell, or tap a stack and then a cell. Neighboring stacks whose top colors match slide together, and ten of one color on a stack clears. Each clear uncovers the colors underneath and can set off a chain with a rising score multiplier. Place all three and three more arrive.
Every level sets a goal: clear a number of stacks, clear tiles of the colors it names, reach a score, or sweep the board down to its last few tiles. Meet it before the board fills, so plan where every color goes.
Stuck? A hint shows you a good move on the board. You start with three hints and can earn more.
TIPS FOR LONGER CHAINS
• Give each color its own corner of the board, so stacks grow tall before they meet.
• A clear uncovers the colors underneath. Line up a match below it and one clear sets off the next.
• Keep a cell or two free as the board fills: the next tray always needs somewhere to go.
32 LEVELS IN EIGHT ACTS, THEN THE ENCORE
• 32 hand-tuned levels across eight acts. New board shapes arrive as you go: open hexagons, rings, hourglasses, triangles and split boards, and most levels open with striped stacks already in your way.
• Every level has a par. Finish within par for a gold comb, or close to it for silver.
• The last level, Million to One, is a true test: about one player in twenty beats it.
• Then the Encore: your board carries over from level to level and the comb closes in with every act. How far can you go?
SOUND, FEEL AND ACCESSIBILITY
• A soft thunk when a tile lands, and a chime that climbs a note for every clear in a chain.
• Every stack shows its height, with an option to make those numbers bolder.
• Reduced motion, haptics and sound can each be switched on or off.
If you enjoy hexa sort, hexa stack and other color sort puzzles, merge games, tile matching or a calm brain teaser to train your logic, Comb is a fair and relaxing take on the genre.
