To use the Great Southern Mobile app, you must be enrolled as a Great Southern digital banking user. If you currently use our internet banking, simply download the app, launch it, and login with the same internet banking credentials.

Ratings and reviews

Since the update my balance is consistently wrong. I've found myself struggling with it and thinking I have x amount of money to find out that's not accurate. I wish when the pending transactions are there it would auto deduct from the balance instead of waiting days, especially on weekends. It's incredibly unreliable and inconvenient to now have to keep a paper ledger.

Transaction and balance alerts do not work the same as the old app. You have to put a dollar "limit" to get it to send a text for a debit, so I set it for anything over $1. So now I'm getting 3+ texts for every transaction: when it occurs, when it's processing and when it posts. NOT enhanced in my opinion, turning off alerts altogether

The app is a waste of effort and money. There was nothing wrong with the previous app. My opinion has nothing to do with a learning curve. It is NOT seamless when you tap for transactions and then have to select that a second time to actually see them. That's what you call wasting time. I do NOT like the layout design of the list of transactions. I would not want to change banks bc GSB is a good bank. But I'd much rather have access to the previous app. This new app doesn't make sense.
