[Guide to setting access rights]
When using the service on Green Car, the following rights are requested for certain functions.
You can use G car service even if you do not allow access rights, but the use of some functions will be restricted.

(Required access rights)
- Camera: Take photos for driver's license recognition, vehicle condition check, and comment writing

(Optional access rights)
- Phone: Collect phone number for identity verification
- Location: Check G car zones near my location
- Nearby devices: Allow access to nearby devices for door control
- PUSH notifications: App push notifications for vehicle reservations, free one-way applications, G car pass subscriptions, etc.
- Photos: Retrieve photos of driver's licenses, vehicles, etc. taken from my device and send them to G car

Ratings and reviews

This app is absolutely useless ever since the update, one star is even too much. It was already frustrating signing up for it if you have a long name and/or a foreigner, and it keeps getting worse day by day. Mobile phone verification doesn't work even with identification data being the same and can easily be cross-referenced with the documents submitted. Submitting the documents manually only results in the same generic message, no changes. And they put the burden on you to fix the issues.

Since the recent big update on the app, it reset my driver license information, thus make me unable to rent before verifying again my license. The problem is my english name is long, so the license only have short version of my name, different then my alien card. I have sent messages and submit the required documents manually in the app (photos of alien card, driver license, and driving experience certificate), but it has been a week and counting and still no response from the developer team.

외국사람이면 면허 인증 못 해요. If you're a foreigner, you can't input your name when registering your license. They want you to enter it exactly as it is on the license, then when you do it doesn't work because the app can't read spaces. When you get rid of the spaces it won't accept it because it's not exactly the same as your driver's license. When you call customer service they send you on this circle a couple times then tell you to get your name changed on your license -- which is illegal because then it won't match your ARC.
