The U value calculator is brought to you by www.TeachPassiv.com A Passivhaus initiative by Mark Stephens, Architects, Passivhaus Designers and App developers.

The app calculates U values of materials and construction assemblies using the Passivhaus methodologies and calculations.

The app calculates U values for Walls, Floors, Ceilings and Roofs and allows you to input your own materials rather than searching for them in a table and takes account of underground & rain screen construction.

Developed for iOS and Android, the U Value Calculator also gives resulting Rse and Rsi thermal resistance values (interior & exterior) in accordance with DIN EN 6946 Section 5, Chart 1.

The app is not supported or endorsed by the Passivhaus Institute, does not replace the U value calculations in PHPP and is for information purposes only e&oe.

What's new

Half way towards version 2.0, unfortunately, there are advertisements on the info page. But these are going to be removable by sharing the ad in the coming version along with multiple layers of materials. Thank you for the support. Green Cheese
