Founded in 1986, the Aurillac International Street Theater Festival has consistently established itself as one of the leading live performance events in France.
For its 2025 edition, the city welcomes 18 official companies, including Alice Ripoll, Cirque Inextremiste, coletivA Ocupação, Jeanne Simone, L’Amicale – Julien Fournet, Les Arts Oseurs, Milo Rau, Sébastien Barrier, Transe Express, and more, as well as nearly 650 visiting companies, making the Aurillac Festival an exceptional event of creation, research, and artistic dissemination.
During these four days, Aurillac opens all its streets, squares, and public spaces to some 150,000 spectators, offering a vibrant and internationally oriented program.
A major artistic and cultural event! Since 2020, ÉCLAT, in collaboration with municipalities in the department, has also been offering you the chance to discover CHAMP LIBRE, a tour of shows across Cantal.
From July 26 to August 10, 2025, 23 municipalities have made the committed and enthusiastic choice to champion culture in their region and to welcome artists and audiences with conviction.
