Bars en Trans has established itself as a leading showcase for the new French contemporary music scene, with an eclectic, cutting-edge, and festive program that blends rock, electro, chanson, and urban music. Featuring nearly a hundred bands, the festival runs alongside the Transmusicales festival across some fifteen venues in downtown Rennes. Over the years, the festival has launched the careers of numerous artists such as Louise Attaque, Mickey 3D, Bigflo & Oli, Feu! Chatterton, Jeanne Added, Roméo Elvis, Eddy de Pretto, Hervé, Clara Luciani, and Angèle. Discovery, simplicity, and a close connection between artists and audiences are the cornerstones of this event, which perpetuates the long tradition of café-concerts in Brittany—essential venues for many artists' early careers. This year, Bars en Trans invites you to join them from December 4th to 6th in a variety of venues, from bars and theaters to concert halls and chapels, offering a range of ways to experience Rennes en Trans.
