About this app

Green Light Responder is the responder-side companion app for Green Light Panic, built for authorised armed-response and security officers.

It is a professional tool for officers who work for a security company that uses the Green Light Panic platform. You need an account issued and approved by your security company to use it — it is not a consumer app.

WHAT IT DOES
- Go on duty with a single toggle to make yourself available for dispatch.
- Receive panic dispatches from your control room in real time.
- See the incident location on a live map and navigate to the scene.
- Share your live GPS position with your control room WHILE YOU ARE ON DUTY, so the nearest available officer can be sent to an emergency.
- Update incident status — en route, arrived, resolved — to keep the control room and the person in distress informed.

LOCATION USE
Green Light Responder shares your location with your own control room only while you are on duty. Location sharing starts when you switch yourself On Duty and stops when you go Off Duty. It runs as a foreground service with a persistent notification so you always know when your location is being shared. The app does not use background location and does not share your location with anyone other than your security company's control room.
