This guide is intended to be a photographic aid for identifying the most common pests in Quebec greenhouses. There are photos of different stages of growth as well as examples of damage to the main greenhouse crops.

It is also a complement to the “Library of internet resources and choice of auxiliaries for greenhouses” (also published by CRAM; link to come), which brings together links to information for each pest (biology, affected crops, proliferation conditions, means of control, etc.) as well as a decision support tool for the choice of auxiliaries.

This guide should be considered evolving and not exhaustive or absolute. Species identification may require confirmation by a professional entomologist. To this end, an identification request can be made to the MAPAQ Phytoprotection Expertise and Diagnostic Laboratory.
