About this game

Pale Cage is an atmospheric indie platformer with a monochrome palette about a tiny glowing hero trying to escape a dark void by jumping from platform to platform over an endless abyss. It features one-finger controls, a meditative pace, and cinematic lighting in the style of Limbo / Inside / Playdead.

The Hero
A tiny glowing wisp in a pitch-black void. He glows with a warm white halo, helping him see his way. He is protected by a fragile shield—if you fall into the abyss, the shield might not break, but you'll be lost in eternity.

Gameplay
• Atmospheric tap platformer
• ONE finger on the screen — tap to jump
• Air Jump — tap again while flying to reach the far platform
• Endless void beneath the platforms — fall, lose progress
• Shield protects against accidental failure, but not against eternity
• Minimalistic puzzles with chains, barriers, and switches
