TripView displays Sydney and Melbourne public transport timetable data on your phone. It features a summary view showing your next services, as well as a full timetable viewer. All timetable data is stored on your phone, so it can be used offline.

Features:
- View times for any saved trip with a single tap
- Trackwork and service interruption information
- Interactive maps (create your trip by clicking on your station/stop)
- Alarms (arrival/departure, time/distance)
- Multi-modal trip editor (customise exact change locations / lines)
- Real-time delay information and vehicle map (subject to data availability)

NOTE: Best efforts are taken to ensure timetable accuracy, but no guarantees are made. If you find an error in the timetable, please email support@tripview.com.au with details. No guarantees are made about real-time data availability. If the transit operator doesn't provide real-time data for a particular service, TripView will revert to showing the scheduled time, as per the timetable.

Having been a commuter for years (both Sydney and Melbourne), I've tried every app I could find out there but always came back to this app. The others just didn't do what I needed or were not intuitive enough. Initially used the lite version but eventually purchased the full version as this is the only app I will continue to use. As my commutes during the winter months are in the dark, it would be nice to have a dark mode to be easier on the eyes.

It's a really great app except the current version makes buses show in different colours based on who operates them which really clutters the visual experience and makes it confusing whilst adding nothing. As a user I don't care who operates the bus, just when it's going to arrive. Five stars for everything else though.

Real time on the app is becoming increasingly unreliable with constant outages on Tripview only. Anytrip and Google Maps in almost all instances were still pulling real time. Been a user for over a decade and it's been almost flawless during that time. Hope the app is still getting the love and attention it got back then.

Hi Nicholas, thanks for the review. At the time of your review, the Sydney Trains vehicle feed hadn't updated for about 10 minutes. If a feed stops updating for longer than 5 minutes, we'll show an outage message, and drop all real-time data. We would prefer to show no real-time data than to show inaccurate/stale real-time data.

What's new

- On Android 12, TripView now requires permission to create time-based alarms
- Fixed bug where set types were not being shown for modified train services
- Fixed bug where street map polylines were not being shown for modified train services
