One shared pet and plant care log for your whole household, from dogs and cats to jumping spiders, snakes, mantids, and the plants on the shelf beside them.
Critter Command is a pet care tracker and field notebook: what each one needs, when it last happened, and who logged it. Keep feeding reminders, care history, photos, and records together. Everyday logging works offline, without creating an app account and with no ads.
FREE AND PLUS
Free keeps up to three active animal or plant profiles; archiving one frees its slot. An optional one-time Plus purchase lets you add unlimited profiles and cover one household. Existing, restored, and synced records stay usable above the free limit. All care features and manual backups are included in both versions. See your local price in the app. Buying or restoring Plus requires Google Play and internet; verified Plus continues offline.
WHAT IT DOES
• Care for a mixed household. Track common pets, exotic pets, and plants in one place. Use species presets or customize care schedules to fit what you actually keep.
• Plant care with the right words. Track watering, pruning, and fertilizing for houseplants, succulents, herbs, orchids, and carnivorous plants.
• Find what needs attention. Pin critters you check daily and sort the rest by name, care status, date added, or species.
• Set feeding reminders and other care alerts. Choose reminder times for recurring care or add a dated task such as a vet visit. Notifications require permission; timely delivery also depends on Android alarm access and battery settings. The app helps you check these settings.
• Keep a care history. Record feedings, cleanings, molts, notes, and more in each critter's timeline, with a dated photo log.
• Weigh-ins that read as a series. Log a weight and see the latest value, the change since last time, and the recent entries, in the unit you use.
• Pause care for the household. Pause selected care until a chosen date, such as during premolt or brumation. To quiet only this phone, use Mute this phone or daily quiet hours in Reminder settings.
• Archive, don't delete. When an animal passes or is rehomed, its history, photos, and records stay in an archived group off the daily roster.
• Keep paperwork with the right animal. Attach vaccination records, vet PDFs, and images of documents.
• Share care with your household. Pair your phones to exchange logs, photos, and documents. Each phone keeps its own copy. Logging works offline; exchanging changes requires internet access and may be delayed by Android background limits. Open the app to catch up before relying on a newly shared reminder.
• Use home-screen widgets. See due care at a glance and tap to record a task after doing it.
• Use the paired Wear OS app. Review and log care from your watch. Add the Today tile for due tasks and a watch-face complication for a due count or shortcut. Actions saved offline sync when your phone reconnects.
• Start at your own pace. Follow an optional getting-started guide and read Help offline.
• Keep your own backup. Export a ZIP with your log, photos, and documents, or a CSV of your history.
PRIVACY
No accounts, no analytics, no ads. Your records stay on your devices unless you export them or share them with your own household. If you use the optional paired Wear OS app, care summaries and pending care actions are stored on your watch and exchanged with your phone through Google Play services. Household changes travel end-to-end encrypted with a key held by your paired phones; the sync server stores encrypted data.
Optional Plus purchases are processed by Google Play. A separate verification service receives purchase identifiers and, if you enable household coverage, a derived household credential. It does not receive your care log or payment-card details.
