Create a Gathering. Run it your way. Start a community for anything in minutes. Organize it with sections and thread prefixes. Set a role hierarchy with owner, admin, moderator, and member levels. Control who can view and post in each section. Set your community to public or private with an approval queue for new members. Pin important posts. Lock threads. Move conversations between sections. Soft delete content so mods can review it. Track every action with admin and mod logs. Enable post approval queues so nothing goes live without review. Let members report content, @mention each other, and follow specific threads for notifications.

Ratings and reviews

App is a handy way to keep track of various participating forums and receive notifications from all in a single platform. Much prefer over having to click on links via email to various forums and open each in a webpage and remember my distinct credentials to login to each one. Once I created and logged into Gather using the same email I had used to sign up for each forum, it was able to identify my pre-existing account and took care of logging me in from there.

I’m using Gather mainly to follow a few forums on my phone. Setup was quick, navigation makes sense, and it’s easy to jump into threads without hunting around. I did run into a readability issue early on, but the latest update fixed it for me.

Learned about this app from a forum I follow. Was one of the first to use it and it has improved a lot in just few weeks. I still keep giving feedback in the forum. I love that it's more mobile friendly than the web browser. I only follow 2 communities but found a few more I'm interested in. looking forward to seeing more enhancements!
