The ECOWAS Trade Liberalization Scheme (ETLS) is an initiative of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) aimed at promoting the economic integration of its 15 member countries. Goods are considered produced within ECOWAS if at least 60% of the raw materials used in their production process come from the region. Products that do not meet the 60% originality criteria can also be admitted under the ETLS if the added value of the product reaches at least 30%.
