GroupShuffle is a simple, playful tool for two things: randomly picking one name from a list, or splitting a group of names into fair, evenly-sized teams.

HOW IT WORKS
Type or paste in a list of names, one per line. Then choose what you need:

• Pick One — randomly selects a single name from your list, with a quick shuffling animation before it lands on a winner. Great for deciding who goes first, picking a raffle winner, or choosing who's "it."

• Make Teams — choose how many teams you want (2 to 10) and GroupShuffle randomly splits everyone into evenly-sized groups, clearly labeled "Team 1," "Team 2," and so on. Perfect for classroom groups, sports teams, trivia night, or splitting up chores.

Didn't like the result? Tap "Shuffle Again" to re-run it instantly without retyping anything.

SAVE YOUR LISTS
Got a group you use often — your classroom roster, your usual game night crew, your team at work? Save the list under a custom name and load it again anytime, instead of retyping names every time. Saved lists can be renamed by re-saving, loaded back into the input box in one tap, or deleted when you no longer need them.

HANDLES THE EDGE CASES GRACEFULLY
Ask for more teams than you have names, and GroupShuffle automatically adjusts and tells you what it did instead of failing. Try to pick from an empty list, and it'll simply ask you to add some names first. No crashes, no confusing errors — just clear, friendly messages.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
GroupShuffle works completely offline. It doesn't request internet access, doesn't collect any data, doesn't show ads, and doesn't require an account or sign-in of any kind. Your saved lists stay stored locally on your device and are never sent anywhere.
