This game is really fun, ad. free unless you want to watch them and it's only for like gold, which at least at the beginning I didn't struggle with because of how generous they were if you played decent. Hard in some cases but not hard, addictive fun that's increasingly rare among mobile games. It's good enough I almost would compare it to an indie game on steam that would go for 10 bucks.

Here's my impression about an hour in: core gameplay of charging and melee is super fun. I love it. There's a lot more variety than I initially expected thanks to how the skills combo together. The UI and progression though is Archero but with swords. So much is ripped straight from Archero and it's a bit annoying. Taking inspiration to add cool stuff is totally fine, but the progression from archero just isn't fun. That's the problem. I hope the game pivots into something more unique.

I'm pretty sure this game has been programmed so that undesirable outcomes happen to make you swipe your credit card. After spending a hundred dollars I now receive the ability type that supposedly should appear 25% less often more often than two of the other ability types combined. This game uses the microtransaction icon instead of tooltips to explain things. Only play this game if you want to learn the game by spending money.
