About this app

With the hOmeLabs app, you can now control your devices using your mobile phone, or use Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant to interact with your hOmeLabs smart products through voice command. The app allows you to perform actions like turning on your hOmelabs Air Purifier or setting the temperature on your hOmelabs Air Conditioner.

hOmelabs Conversation is supported for the following operations:

Turn your Air Purifier On/Off
Control the speed of your Air Purifier

Turn your Air Conditioner On/Off
Set the temperature of your Air Conditioner and monitor / double check the room temperature.

The app appears to be another SmartLife variant but rather than make it easy to just add to an existing SmartLife install we need yet another app for one device. Meanwhile, this is advertised as working with Alexa; but the device is not recognized as an air conditioner, just "other device," so there is no way to incorporate the AC into a routine. Considering I paid more money because this was supposed to work in a smart home, I am extremely irritated.

I've had this A/C and app for 1 year now (2 seasons) for the most part it works great! I'm able to cool my room down prior to coming home which is nice! I did have an issue reconnecting the app and air conditioner when I was setting it up for this season. The app does need to be updated because the temp graph isnt displaying anymore. Other than that it's what I ordered so I can't complain.

The air conditioner itself is awesome. If you want your room cold, then this is the one. In fact I use this to cool two rooms with the help of a small fan and it works great. But the app is kind of finicky it works most of the time. It changes the fan speed randomly. So for the app itself three stars. For the cooling power of the AC 5 stars. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.......
