About this app

Eclipse Open App provides public access to electricity-system information for participating Transmission System Operators (TSOs).

Users can choose Bulgaria (ESO) or Cyprus (TSOC) and consult national electricity demand, generation, the generation mix, day-ahead electricity prices, and the status of the electricity grid. The app includes an interactive map that highlights grid zones and shows normal, alert, or emergency states, together with relevant descriptions and expected end times when they are available.

Key features include:
Region selection for the supported ESO and TSOC data services.
Charts for national demand and total generation.
A generation mix view that distinguishes renewable and non-renewable sources.
Day-ahead electricity prices and market volume when the source provides it.
An interactive map of grid zones, grid-status levels, curtailment indicators, and expected end times.
Energy-system recommendations, filtered by the topics selected by the user.Optional push notifications for grid-status and selected-zone information.
Preferences for the app theme, language, region, selected zone, and recommendation topics.
Automatic refresh and retry when public data services are temporarily unavailable.

Safe and Private:
Eclipse Open App does not include an account-registration or login flow. It processes the minimum technical and preference data needed to display public electricity-system information and send notifications. It does not display advertisements, in-app purchases, or mature themes, making it an open utility for anyone interested in public energy data.
