Very few of our Chakma people know how to read Changma Legha (Chakma script). Even if they learn to read and write in Chakma, due to the lack of reading material their practice comes to a halt. Now Kalpataru is beginning to publish Books and E-books as well as android apps in Chakma language. Kalpataru has already published a few books. And now this is the first Chakma android app from Kalpataru. We hope enthusistic Chakma people will love the app and practice reading in their native Chakma language.

We also sincerely hope that Chakma people may not forget their folktales which are presented here.
