Patrol Logger for GMS is a lone worker safety and patrol compliance tool designed for licensed security officers. It enables 24/7 oversight of guards on duty and provides rapid alerting if a worker is in distress, fails to check in, or deviates from expected patrol standards.

The app includes a dedicated panic button that allows users to trigger an immediate distress alert via SMS. This message is sent directly to the control room or designated responder and includes identification and timestamped details to ensure fast intervention.

Core Functionality (SMS-Driven):

Panic/distress alert system activated manually by the lone worker

Scheduled lone worker check-ins, with automatic SMS alert if overdue

Patrol compliance monitoring, sending SMS alerts if patrols are missed or standards not met

Shift tracking (clock in/out) with alerting if expected check-out does not occur

SMS is used as the primary alerting method to ensure delivery even in areas with limited or no data coverage — such as remote estates, underground locations, or buildings with poor connectivity.
Without SMS permissions, the app’s emergency functionality is inoperable and cannot fulfill its core safety purpose.

SMS: Used exclusively to send distress and non-compliance alerts from the lone worker to the control room or supervising personnel.

Location (optional): May be used in some deployments to log patrol locations.

This app requires a valid licence and back end software issued by Guard Management Systems Ltd and is intended for use by security professionals.
