The Guidant Global app by Flexy enables you to manage your flexible work assignments from onboarding, selecting your upcoming shifts through to submitting your timesheets It’s your hub for flexible work management.
Who are Guidant Global?
Guidant Global is a specialist outsourced recruitment provider and that means we do things a little differently. And we like to think, a little better. Our recruitment teams work onsite within our clients’ organisations, which means we can give you direct access to their very latest jobs as soon as they come up.
We’ve teamed up with our sister company, Flexy, to be able to provide this app for you. Flexy manage the software for this application and are experts in developing flexible workforce solutions.
Both of our brands are part of Impellam; a connected group providing global workforce and specialist recruitment solutions. Their operations span time zones across 70 locations in North America, Asia Pacific, the UK and Europe. With 9 businesses, they are the largest STEM group in the UK and the seventh largest Managed Services Provider in the world.
Getting set up:
Guidant Global by Flexy is free to use, but before you can be allocated to your assignment to begin submitting timesheets, you will need to complete all onboarding documentation and book a short appointment with our friendly team to have your right to work in the UK validated.
• UK law states that we must check your right to work, so you must have a UK / EU passport (with at least 6 months validity) or a UK work visa. This meeting takes about 5 minutes and will be done in person.
• We are highly committed to driving inclusion in the workplace so if you require any adjustments to support you during the application process, please let us know.
When you first register on the Flexy app, you will be guided to each onboarding form which must be fully completed. Remember to keep your notifications turned on to receive updates on the progress of your onboarding and proof of right to work requirements.
Using the app:
Once you have completed onboarding and registration you can see shifts that have been reserved for you and book into available shifts for the assignment you are currently in.
• When you arrive for your shift, simply check-in on your phone to confirm you’re in the right place at the right time.
• When you finish, check-out and submit your timesheet through the app.
• Flexy then processes your timesheet to ensure you get paid quickly and securely whilst paying the right amount of tax.
