Read the Holy Quran in Arabic alongside its translation. This app provides you with the full Qur'an as well as its full english translation along with a full set of audio recitation files. iQuran offers you verse by verse audio playback, color coded Tajweed (pronunciation) rules, repeat functions, bookmarks, tags, search, excellent navigational controls, a side by side english translation, audio recitation and much more.

NOTE: Permission to "read phone state" is only required in order to pause recitation in case the phone rings or in case you place a call while recitation is playing in the background.

Apart from offering an immersed user experience, the free version of iQuran includes the following limitations only:

* Full Landscape supported
* Color coded Tajweed (Pronunciation) rules for the last Juz / Para
* Bookmark and Tags. A maximum of 5 bookmarks and 3 Tags.
* One english translation: Shakir
* Search results limited to 20 per search
* One recitation: Sheikh Husary
* Powerful audio controls with an option to group playback of verses to aid in memorization

All other features are fully enabled and there is no expiration date on this app.

This used to be a great app as I've been using it for nearly a decade. Since the recent updates the downloaded audio keeps deleting itself the next day or the day after I've downloaded it several times which is very annoying. Whilst playing the audio volume keeps going up and down which is even more annoying . and the saved bookmarks which have been saved over time's disappears too which is frustrating. Please fix this issue and let us keep everything this beautiful app that it used to be

For those who interested , the app doesn't have a bookmark export feature , however if you change phones or reinstall , copy the data base file using file manager, you must do this before deleting the app, copying it to new phone into same location will put back your bookmarks, it's also a manual way to save your data until the developer figures away to do this , especially on the paid app , I did this across different versions of the app , copy from iquran folders you may need to bluetooth them

Absolutely happy with this useful App. May Allah Ta'ala bless you all! This app has helped me in many ways! Very handy! Very inspiring also coz we can read translation and understand meaning instead of simply going on reading Arabic verses without understanding. We can jump to any Surah and reach any verse so easily with the scrolling option. I also like the option for reaching the last point where we had stopped!
