Chikan Tower (or Chihkan Tower) was built by the Dutch in 1652. It was originally called "Prominent City" and was an administrative and commercial center. The building is composed of three slightly square pedestals connected together. In 1886, it was renovated into cornices and red tiles, including Wenchang Pavilion, Tanah Lot Temple and Penghu Academy. Over the past 300 years since its establishment, the buildings have been renovated many times. There are quite a few, but the role they play in Tainan City has always been very important.

This App supports map guidance, real-life guidance, and pre-downloaded text and photos of scenic spots for offline use, so location, camera and storage data permissions are required.

Permission description

--Background location permission: This application will access the current location and is only used to prompt nearby places for navigation, display the current location relative to the attractions on the map, provide navigation, and support real-world azimuth and distance guidance. This happens even if the app is closed or not in use. The location access results will not be sent and used for other functions.
--Photo permissions: This app will download photos and data for offline use, reducing cloud traffic. At the same time, the data will be read from the mobile phone, making navigation smoother.
--Camera permissions: This application provides AR positioning function to guide various attractions through the lens.
