The GuildSomm App provides offline access to the full resources of the GuildSomm Compendium, as well as the latest articles and review quizzes to test your knowledge on-the-go. Perfect for studying during your commute or quickly looking up a fact during service.

The database includes regional wine and appellation laws, classifications, climate and production data, viticulture and vinification references, pronunciation, cocktail recipes, and much more.

The Compendium can be viewed in either a dark or light mode.

Ratings and reviews

The content is there but I just can't access it without a ton of issues. The most prominent issue is that when I click to search the compendium (and after waiting for the mandatory download of any new database additions which is ridiculous as well), I start to type a word and it auto adds a ton of extra random letters after the first few inputs. Example - I want to type "ALBARINO" and start with A-L-B- and as soon as I hit the next A, it inputs a string of random letters. Not useable.

Downloads update automatically every time i open it (wine laws don't change that often), should just offer an option to do it yourself when one is available. Also when typing to search specific compendium items, it inexplicably inserts double letters (VINO becomes VVINNOO) making it useless.

App can't even open. I have used the compendium on my android for years. But the past several months I keep trying to download it again and it can't even open once downloaded. Fix the bugs!
