About this app

Simmons Drums 2 brings Android control to Simmons electronic drum kits. The app provides a wider display of drum module settings to help you select kits, choose new sounds and effects, change the mix, adjust trigger settings and more. The play-along tool plays music from your library or YouTube, slowing down or looping sections so you can learn new beats. Additional learning tools include a metronome and control over the Titan-series Practice tool.

Compatible with Simmons Titan 70, Titan 50, Titan 20, SD200, SD300, SD350, SD500, SD550, SD600, SD1200, SD1250, and SD2000 drum modules.

Ratings and reviews

The app's not very pretty, and the menus fall off the screen with unreachable options on my Galaxy S23 Ultra. More importantly it's completely unusable now that I renamed "User Kit 01" to "Carly's Cool Kit". The app crashes every time I connect the kit since the rename. Had the Titan 75 since Christmas, and the kit is awesome. But the app could use some love.

It's an awesome app to make your kit come more to life. Easy to use at your fingertips as a quick "go-to" instead of having to move around the module all the time. Personally, I enjoy using both methods and enjoy the EQ settings within the app. As you function around the app, you can see the module respond to kits youre building. Getting to know your module first before relying on this app right away will save you a lotta frustration & disappointments. Great job Simmons, you've come a long way.

Despite being connected to the drumset and having a play along feature, the feature doesn't actually have the drumset put the music through the speakers connected to the set. So I ask: what is the point of this feature, if it's a worse mp3 player than the one that comes with my phone? And yes, as the other reviews have said, the YouTube player doesn't work. What is the point of this app?
