Mappami is a participatory mapping app that allows citizens, associations, and local communities to report local problems and resources in a simple, structured, and shared way.
The goal is to make information visible from the bottom up, offering a comprehensive view that is useful to the community and, potentially, to governments as a tool for knowledge and decision-making.
With Mappami, you can:
- Select a reporting category
- Locate a point on the map, associating the reporting with a specific location
- Add a photo for visual documentation
- Fill in the provided guided fields to make the information clear and comparable
- View the reports within a collective map, built over time
Reports are currently divided into three main categories: Green (trees), Abandoned waste, and Water (fountains). New categories will be added gradually, based on emerging local needs.
Mappami was created within the CrowdMap project, funded by the European Solidarity Corps. It is designed as an open, replicable, and constantly evolving tool, usable in different local contexts and adaptable to community needs. The information collected is used exclusively for participatory mapping purposes.
