Some people may have given it 5 stars because the first time you complete a scan, the app asks you to rate itself 5 stars to unlock the scan results. It works like any other app nothing fancy just recently deleted photos. Ads are not working so you cannot do a deep scan and if it shows you a file, it is unable to recover and goes into processing. I won't recommend it.

I can’t thank the developers of this fantastic app enough, I was able to recover all my deleted pictures almost 4k of them,quickly and easily,The ads are reasonable for a free app, and the results are amazing, I highly recommend giving it a try

The app does the same useless job like all other recovery apps: "recovering" files still existing in your recycle bin. The difference is that this app doesn't show all found files with full information to review it after scan. It shows some of found files inside folders named with special simbols, making you think that the app really found lost files you deleted by mistake from recycle bin. In order to open each folder to see the files, you should watch very very long advertisement many times.
