About this app

GuyWay Driver is the app for drivers on GuyWay, Guyana's all-electric ride-hailing network in Georgetown.

Drivers are independent transport operators. You rent an insured, maintained GuyWay electric vehicle on a days, nights or weekends slot package, and drive when you choose.

In the app
- See the fare, trip time and pickup of each request before you accept.
- Accept or decline any request.
- Follow the route to the pickup, with SOS and incident reporting.
- Check your monthly statement: every fare and every published charge.

Every fare is yours
GuyWay collects each fare as your agent. One monthly statement shows your fares and every charge, with the balance paid to your bank. All charges are published in your agreements before you sign.

A local team behind you
Our team is in Georgetown, and SOS goes to a real person.

What you need
A Guyanese driver's licence held for two years or more, a hire-car licence, a police clearance, your TIN and NIS registration, and bank details. Every driver goes through a document and background check, signs the agreements and completes the safety induction.
